Introduction
Participants will be welcomed to the first day of the Summer University program. Day 1 begins with an opening ceremony featuring welcome remarks from representatives of Khorog State University, the University of Central Asia (UCA), the Swiss Government, and the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF).
This is followed by an overview of the program and initial networking activities. The day sets the tone for the week ahead, helps participants connect with one another, and lays the groundwork for a meaningful learning journey.
